Refund Policy

1. Storage Fees

Storage is billed in advance on a weekly or monthly cycle depending on the plan you select. Once a billing cycle has started, the fee for that cycle is non-refundable, including when boxes are returned before the cycle ends.

You can cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid cycle — no further charges will be made after that.

2. Box Deposit

A refundable deposit is collected for each box at the time of booking. The deposit is returned to you after your boxes are collected and inspected, provided they are in acceptable condition.

  • Full refund: box returned undamaged. Deposit is released back to your original payment method once processed.
  • Partial or no refund: if a box is damaged, lost, or contains prohibited items, we may withhold all or part of the deposit. You will receive a note explaining the reason.

3. Failed or Cancelled Orders

If an order is cancelled before any boxes have been delivered, any amounts charged will be refunded in full. If boxes have already been delivered, refunds are handled according to the storage fee and deposit rules above.

4. How Refunds Are Processed

Refunds are processed through HitPay and returned to the original payment method used at checkout. Processing typically takes 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

5. Requesting a Refund

Most refunds (deposit returns and cancellations within our policy) are initiated automatically. If you believe a refund is due but has not been issued, email hello@sbox.sg with your order number and a short description. We aim to respond within 2 business days.

6. Disputes

If you disagree with a deposit deduction, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the decision. We'll review the photographs taken at collection and any additional information you provide before issuing a final response.
